My Cat! 

My cat gets in to everything 
He's a pest! 
But he's my cat so I'll have to make do.

He sleeps all day and through most of the night 
He's a lounge lizard! 
But he's our cat so we'll have to make do.

He's always in the way, curling himself around your legs 
He's a pain! 
But he's my daughter's cat so we'll have to make do.

My Cat! 
Is purring in my arms 
He's a comfort! 
But he's no one's cat, he's the family cat and he will do.
